Alpinestars Tech-Air 5 Plasma Airbag System

The Alpinestars Tech-Air 5 Plasma is a slim motorcycle airbag system designed to fit under a riding jacket. It combines chest, rib, back and shoulder airbag coverage with an integrated Nucleon PLASMA back protector and a breathable stretch-mesh chassis.

Key features

• Ultra-thin, single-layer stretch mesh at the collar, underarms and front helps minimize bulk.
• Full-stretch construction with a moisture-wicking treatment supports comfort and airflow.
• Three riding modes: STREET, OFF-ROAD and RACE. Use the LED display button to select the appropriate mode.
• LED status display and vibration feedback help riders check system operation.
• Single-canister design provides one airbag deployment before inflator replacement.
• Quick-release cover provides access to the gas inflator. User replacement is available where permitted by local regulations.

Fit and sizing

Designed for under-jacket wear. Follow the Tech-Air 5 Plasma manual for sizing and the space required for airbag inflation; a close-fitting jacket must not restrict deployment.
