The Alpinestars Tech-Air Off-Road Airbag System combines an autonomous airbag with an integrated off-road protection jacket. Designed for enduro and rally riding, it includes ENDURO, RALLY and STREET modes and dual-charge capability.

Key features

  • Deployed airbag covers the chest, back, shoulders, neck and collarbones.
  • Integrated jacket includes passive chest, back and limb protection, plus arm and chest roost protection.
  • Two full gas inflators allow two separate deployments, using one inflator per deployment.
  • Integrated accelerometers and gyroscopes operate without external motorcycle sensors.
  • Riding modes can be selected through the front LED display or Tech-Air App.
  • Zipping the system activates it; unzipping deactivates it.
  • Quick-release cover allows user inflator replacement where local regulations permit.

Battery and care

The integrated lithium-ion battery provides up to 30 hours of use and recharges in approximately four hours via USB-C. Approximately one hour of charging provides around eight hours of use. The ECU and airbag can be removed so the protection jacket can be washed separately, following the manual.

Compatibility and setup

Do not use with a neck brace, including Alpinestars Bionic Neck Support. The system is supplied with Shipping Mode enabled; follow the manual to switch it off before first use.

Fit and sizing

Follow the Tech-Air Off-Road manual for sizing, layering and riding-mode selection. Any outer garment must allow room for airbag inflation.
